I began ICON in 7th grade. It changed my life for the better. I was able to manage my social anxiety and depression while maintaining good schoolwork. I always had support from the staff and the teachers.
The teachers actually care about the students, they aren't burnt out or grumpy like some teachers. They will go out of their way to help you, even if that means spending an hour on the phone going through math problems while you cry (speaking from experience..math isn't my strong suit).
The only problem I encountered was in my senior year, I didn't get much help from counselors regarding college and finances. They sent out a monthly newsletter but that did not do a whole bunch.
However, the majority of my experience was wonderful and I recommend ICON to any parent looking into an online education for their children.
