Iber Holmes Gove Middle School Reviews

A solid public middle school. Supports the kids if they need extra help without making it obvious. Plenty of extracurricular activities. Great clean building and clean grounds. The office staff are incredibly hard working and are a great asset to Raymond. The leaders are very efficient and have a lot of heart (which is the most important thing, imo). The teachers are amazing and truly care about what makes each student unique. Small enough school to feel like one big family but big enough to offer solid education in more than just the basics. The new superintendent seems progressive, organized and caring all at the same time. My kids love IHGMS! If you can do homeschooling/unschooling go for it (I think that's the best) but if you can't I think you'll be impressed with the public schools of Raymond.

The staff at this school are all very nice and do their best to help you succeed. The building itself is very nice as it is the newest of all our schools. The band at the middle school is amazing and there are plenty of other clubs for kids to get involved in as well. It is a smaller school, but it does a good job at preparing kids for high school. There is almost no diversity at this school. It's a primarily white town and that is painfully obvious in the schools.
