My experience at Hurley High School has been nothing short of amazing. The staff members and teachers always provide for the students’ needs and make sure each individual receives a quality education. I think our school is wonderful as it is, and there is no need for any changes to be made. One of the best things about Hurley High School is where we are located in a rural area, everyone in the school seems to know each other well and we are all one close-knit family. Everyone looks out for one another, and I truly would not have it any other way. All of the students work together to seek success and reach the goals they have set to achieve. Our teachers care for each and every student who walks through the school doors, and they genuinely treat us all as if we were their own children. I would recommend Hurley High School to any parent searching for a new school to transfer their child to. You will not find any better school community than the people in Hurley, Virginia in my opinion!
I have had a very good experience at Hurley High school. Ever since I started there in eighth grade, the staff and students have always been so nice and welcoming. The teachers would constantly encourage me and other students to succeed and do their best. I have had a wonderful learning experience and have met some of my favorite people. I will always cherish and remember my years at Hurley for the rest of my life.
I liked the closeness of a small school and knowing my classmates. I would like to see a better academic selection be provided.
