Huntsville High School Reviews
Rating 3.3 out of 5 189 reviews
The first time Huntsville high school showed me their true colors was when an adult male cared more about my athletic shorts I was wearing than the fact people were getting high in the restroom. The faculty favors the people who they think deserve to be favored. Ex: atheletes, atheletes, ATHLETES. It just isn’t fair, in my opinion huntvsille isd cares more about sports amenities rather than the work it takes. And I’ve seen people who do GREAT academically get no recognition. This school is weak, and the foundation is covered on lies and the people who can cover them up.
I liked my experience at Huntsville High School. I took/will take for the most part only Pre-AP/AP classes. The teachers for the courses I’ve taken have prepared me for the year upcoming. I’ve built several relationships with teachers that I can carry with me for a lifetime. If there’s one thing I could change, I’d want more effort in the stundents learning the information. I like our principal and the other administrators. I like the sports department and other extracurricular my school offers. Huntsville High School is a good small town public High School.
Huntsville High School provides great opportunities in 5A sports and band, especially in the volleyball and football programs. The teachers and administrators genuinely care about providing a good education and safe environment for their students. My counselors have been easy to contact and willing to work with me to make my schedule and college plan as easy and efficient as possible. The band program has a lovely facility and dedicated directors, which I’ve greatly appreciated during my time here. However, there is a problem with violence and the buildings and facilities are outdated.
