Huntsville High School Reviews

Overall fairly positive! Students are kind, teachers are helpful and respectful. Diverse body of students and staff, both in ethnicity and sexuality, making it an overall welcoming environment. There are many opportunities to tailor your learning experience to what you need to succeed, as long as you talk to a teacher or administration and put forth the necessary effort. I would like to see the hallways and buildings updated to reflect the modernization of Huntsville, as the buildings and hallways now have been there for decades and look bland and somewhat dreary.
When people ask me how I feel about high school, I always respond with " I love it". From my enrichment class that I laughed constantly in to my art group chat that vlogs flow through, Huntsville High School has given me my best friends and valuable lessons. It's given me first hand experience in making my own decisions and forging my own paths, consequences something that have shaped me as a person. The educators at Huntsville High are truly there for you and more than willing to help with anything school related or just in general. I have had teachers encouraging scholarships, reading my college essays and giving constructive criticism. Other than educators, it feels like you have a personal relationship with the staff. The security guards have been in countless projects of mine and fist bump everyone first thing in the morning. The principal and vice principal have resources ready for when Im not sure where to go next. Huntsville High School is truly a family and has impacted me.
Huntsville High School has provided many opportunities for me to step outside of my box, and join numerous amounts of extracurriculars. I would not have been provided with as many opportunities that I have had, had it not been for the different resume-building classes, clubs, and certifications which I have gained from Huntsville High, as well as opportunities to gain College Credits through many Advanced Placement and Dual-Enrollment Classes!
