I've been a student at HPHS for almost 4 years now, my experience at this high school has been as normal as can be. I feel that over the course of my near 4 years at HPHS, the school has improved positively and abundantly. Many people in my hometown have always been apprehensive about sending their kids to this school, however, I've had a great experience with the teachers here. I believe that the success of a student needs to be aided by parents and teachers, of course, the student is responsible for their own performance as well. HPHS will always have room for improvement, despite this, this school will always hold a special place in my memories. Go HPHS Spartans!

Huntington Park Senior High is a very good as in a school. Hp is a school i transfered in 10th grade, i honestly didnt think much of the school since it was unexpected. I didnt fit in at first but i decided i was never gonna get out there and communicate if im timid. Therefore, i started to express myself and found myself being welcomed. The activities are fun if you actually participate in , sometimes people bring other people so it makes it more fun. For the activities as in sports: volleyball, soccer, tennis, football, and many others. Many of hp students go to the football events and games making it more supportive for them.
Hi, I am a junior at Huntington Park Senior High School. I have been a student at this school since my freshman year and I honestly love it. The school is very historic and has a pretty "old-timey" feel to it that I enjoy. The education at the school isn't the best but it is still very good. The teachers here care about their students and about their education, which is nice. Furthermore, we also got a new principal this school year and the school is definitely improving. There are new designs and decorations around the school, students are feeling more involved, there is more school spirit and the overall energy is different. A good different. Lastly, our school is being renovated soon and it is very exciting. Unfortunately, my class won't be here when the renovations are done but it's nice to know that our school will be getting the upgrade it deserves while still keeping its historic feel to it. In the end, we all know that once you're a Spartan, you are always a Spartan.
