Absolutely amazing school with caring teachers and staff. Principal is engaged and compassionate. My daughter has thrived at Hunter. Only complaint I have is school lunch, but that’s district wide. I just pack a healthy lunch everyday for my daughter.

I would like to see more activities for children and also more volunteers for homework help more involvement from the teachers when it comes to the children’s strengths in certain subjects and more goal settings reached when it comes to communication between the students and teachers besides English and math something like projects on life what they would spend money on what’s a necessity and what’s not important to help with math
My daughter has had non-parent "visitors" for lunch on campus without my knowledge or permission, and then again when I requested this stop. The communication from the district and through the channels at school are quite slow and I am concerned for the safety of all students if this type of activity is happening. Who is coming on to our supposedly "closed campus"? In this time I would think the school would be more attentive to their policies and procedures.
