The teachers and staff at HAAT go above and beyond to make sure the students thrive in any space, they offer all of their time and support to make everyone feel seen and loved. They 100% made my 4 years better, they worked 1 on 1 with students and made sure they met everyones learning needs. The staff created multiple events where we could have made friends and gotten a chance to feel welcomed and to overall have lots of fun. My 4 years at HAAT were very memorable and they helped set me off to college more than ready to achieve anything. We were taught about different colleges/universities, FAFSA, and other things students need to thrive outside of high school without their help although many teachers still offer their help when we leave. I went on so many college tours because of a program offered at HAAT which ultimately helped me decide where I want to spend the next 4 years of my life.
It’s very welcoming and the staff is really friendly, it’s a safe place for anyone, they focus a lot on the students and also manage to make time to do whole academy activities/ circle talk (what’s said stays there). Students can feel comfortable dressing up for school no matter what style they have. They encourage creativity!
I loved the school and the environment. Everyone was really accepting of the students. The homework was easy and the teachers almost always gave us a lot of time to complete it. Best 4 years of my life. I love HAAT. HAAT kids are the Best kids.
