Love it there. I made so many friends. It's been so nice attending hudson high. I couldn't have asked for a better school. I always hear my friends from other schools complaining. I have no complaints whatsoever. I'm so greatful for my teachers and friends for the experience. Hopefully, I'll have a good college experience as well.
Overall, my experience with this highschool was average. There was nothing exciting about it. I did not feel safe or unsafe there. I also did not feel like I learned anything special, besides what it is like to be a minority in a very white school.
Lisamarie Spindler is terrible, Lisamarie Spindler is terrible. Lisamarie Spindler is terrible, Lisamarie Spindler is terrible, Lisamarie Spindler is terrible, Lisa, Lisa, Lisa. Lisa. Lisamarie Spindler is terrible. Lisa is. Lisamarie Spindler is terrible. Lisamarie Spindler is terrible. Lisa. Lisa. Lizzy. Lizzo. Leazer. Lisamarie Spindler is terrible.
The school is small and easy to navigate. Some teachers actually care for their students while others take pride in basically calling their students stupid. There are not a lot of extra activities to do after school unless youre male. Counselors dont actually care about their job, and the nurses there just are awful. But if you know the right people and teachers then its a pretty cool school to be at..
Overall, Hudson high school is what you make of it. There are good crowds, bad crowds, and just about everything in between. The teachers are generally very good and supporting, though the student body has mixed levels of academic commitment.
I've attended the Hudson Junior/Senior High school for four years. Throughout those years, I've had an interesting experience. Despite the necessary in-school cop being around every corner to prevent dangerous situations and the bad school lunch, the best thing about Hudson High was the diversity. No school around the area compares to how diverse this school is and the opportunities it provides for the students. I was glad to have gone to Hudson High for my high school education.
Although the district is rich with diversity and easy friendships the school lacks any real discipline. For instance, school bathroom will be filled up with people vaping, smoking etc. and school officials will walk in do their business wash there hands and not bat an eye at ten people suspiciously in one corner with bloodshot eyes with literal puffs of smoke around them The school will without a doubt give harsh punishments for making innocent jokes or simple things as being a bystander in situations. There are two types of classes ones you don't need to study for and you pass and the one where you study all night and fail. Overall the administration is horrible and toxic to itself but the people there are nice.
To be honest, this school has too much favoritism. The teachers always like to differentiate between the kids. If you disagree with someone about something, then the kids make this issue a big deal. In class time, teachers don't even like to teach, they like to pass their time by talking about sports and other people's families. I feel like they only give privileges to kids that are white and rich. However, they do give privileges to colored kids, but only if you are in cahoots with those white kids. When I came new to this school in 2014, the kids are so jealous and rude. I mean they didn't have to be friends with me, but they were always an obstacle towards my goal. Every assignment I did, they threw it out and the teacher blamed on me for not doing the work. When I deserved to get a higher score on a particular assignment, they on purposely gave me a lower score and claimed that this is the criteria for the school. Overall, this was my experience over 4 years.
If you don't get along with someone, it's fine. Yet if you aren't confident, you tend to get bullied alot.
You have to find these clubs yourself.
They don't have a huge effect on the school.
If you're on their good side they'll be good to you
Sometimes fights will break out and many people can get injured including teachers trying to break things apart.
Other than a few obnoxious kids, the school honestly isn't that bad. There are lots of opportunities for everyone in Hudson. There are many clubs and sports students of all types could join.
Most teachers genuinely care about their students excelling. They work hard at what they do and get a reasonable amount of work. There are a few who don't even know what they're teacher because they aren't qualified enough.
not enough parental support... different athletics such as wrestling, or lacrosse
more assistance is needed for students that struggle.... a list of tutors
