I really enjoyed my experience at Hudson Catholic Regional High School. I was part of athletics, the honors program, national honors society and other clubs. All of these aspects were an extra plus to my experience, aside from the fact that Hudson Catholic itself is a very good school. It is a pretty small school which I liked because it made it feel more like a tight knit family, since you knew everyone. All the teachers I had during my four years were excellent. They were always willing to help you and they had the patience to teach in a manner that everyone understood what was being taught. The administration was overall very welcoming and made you feel at home. Being part of athletics was really awesome because it made me grow closer to some of my teammates who were also my classmates. The coaching staff was amazing and always made sure we were doing well academically before anything.
Hudson Catholic is a great high school. The teachers, staff, and the students are friendly and welcoming. The school has a wide variety of extracurricular activities to choose from. Being a Catholic school, there is a great emphasis on religion and community service. There are also some amazing academic programs, such as the ACE Program and the Dual Enrollment Program with Saint Peter's University. The staff really care about the learning and the well-being of the students. Overall, it is a good school. It is a great environment for learning and developing bonds with your peers.
Where do we even begin? We came to this school thinking that it would safer compared to the public schools in the area but oh were we mistaken. Whenever we came to the open houses and saw online advertisements for the school we thought the it was great but when we actually attended the school we quickly had a reality check. A lot of the teachers think that they are entitled and when we want to ask some teacher questions for clarification they belittle the students. The WiFi is so bad that it would be rated a zero. They are last minute when it comes to school events and updates on school closings and delayed openings. This school has poor ventilation and a horrible heating system. They have favoritism over certain students and sports. Most sports do not get new or any uniforms or equipment. They don't take action when favored student do things that make other students feel safe and there is little accommodations for students with IEPs and 504's. The fights. 1000 Characters isn't enough
