I really enjoyed my experience at Hudson Catholic Regional High School. I was part of athletics, the honors program, national honors society and other clubs. All of these aspects were an extra plus to my experience, aside from the fact that Hudson Catholic itself is a very good school. It is a pretty small school which I liked because it made it feel more like a tight knit family, since you knew everyone. All the teachers I had during my four years were excellent. They were always willing to help you and they had the patience to teach in a manner that everyone understood what was being taught. The administration was overall very welcoming and made you feel at home. Being part of athletics was really awesome because it made me grow closer to some of my teammates who were also my classmates. The coaching staff was amazing and always made sure we were doing well academically before anything.

Hudson Catholic is a great high school. The teachers, staff, and the students are friendly and welcoming. The school has a wide variety of extracurricular activities to choose from. Being a Catholic school, there is a great emphasis on religion and community service. There are also some amazing academic programs, such as the ACE Program and the Dual Enrollment Program with Saint Peter's University. The staff really care about the learning and the well-being of the students. Overall, it is a good school. It is a great environment for learning and developing bonds with your peers.
There was a good deal of diversity all throughout the school. There were people coming from other parts of New Jersey and New York and it made for a different experience. It otherwise would not have happened at other public schools. The science department arguably helped me learn to love particular subjects like chemistry and anatomy. A lot of that credit goes to the teachers I had for those classes. The negatives surrounding my high school has to be the lack of consistency between most other teachers. Most teachers gave mere threats to students as if we were like a number. The reason for that was they believed all colleges treat their students in that way. In reality, they were just being rude and not very helpful about it. The administration was also very selfish when it came to tuition being paid as they never showed any kind of care toward us as human beings. Overall, an average high school that needs to improve on helping students for college readiness and human development.
