Hoxie is a great school!! The teachers are the best and you will most likely be able to know them all along with most of the students.
Hoxie high school was like your average small town high school. Although everyone is friendly and talking to teachers is easy, sports are too important in this school. I don't think my education was poor, in fact I excelled here.
Hoxie was a good school. Everyone knew each other and we were all kind of like a family. Hoxie is a big football school. Football brings a lot of people together and it is amazing to be apart of that community.
Very small school so you make very close contacts with everyone there. The school is very sports based and it seems to revolve on the involvement with sports.
Hoxie Public Schools has been my home since I first started school, my mom works here as a substitute teacher and both of my sisters go here. I personally love school and I think the reason for that is the atmosphere at Hoxie. The teachers are very involved and care about their students' success, and I think that is very important in a student's school experience. I am prepared for and excited about college, but I will, without a doubt, miss Hoxie Public Schools.
Best school all around .i have a son who is a SR at Hoxie and I also graduated from Hoxie we love this school
The teachers here are wonderful, very intelligent people. Sometimes they can have a bit of a hard or cold exterior, or they appear as if they don't have the time of day for their students.
Teachers are very informative. Curriculum is important. Scheduling is easy as well as the workload.
Bullying is not existent at Hoxie High School and our security is decent. There is a police station one block away from our school and police frequently patrol the roads in and out of the school. Our health program is extravagant and the school is quite safe.
The teachers teach quality standards and give minimal homework whilst students still learn the subject. The teachers engage with their student while lecturing about the lesson. The teachers give a syllabus at the beginning of each semester with a clear grading scale.
My school has had a positive and productive effect on my life and education.
High school students are not allowed in the elementary at all. The nurses office happens to be in the elem. You cannot go without a slip. You must also go through the offices before hand. They hand out and OTC medicines in the office before you need to go to the nurse. However, she's not too knowledgeable. She mainly just calls the parents and asks the student to lie down.
There are a few clubs and organizations, but not a big number. The student support is lacking, but everyone says they want to get involved. However, in each club, there are outstanding members that often excel, especially FBLA and FCCLA. The advisors for both are great and well-fitted. I just wish there were more clubs offered and much more student involvement in the existing ones.
The best thing about the teachers at HHS: approachable, trustworthy, helpful
Every single student at HHS has a special bond with one or more of the teachers.
The only thing bad is the curriculum is not that difficult and the classes are almost too laid back and non-challenging.

I could not imagine attending another school for my high school experience.
The teachers are very knowledgeable and prepare you for many different scenarios depending on what class. They will always help a struggling student no matter what.
We are supposed to have every door locked and have cameras on at all times but during the year the teachers get tired of letting kids in all the time so most of the time the dont lock the doors unless they know they are going to be inspected on it. The school nurse is rarely in her office
