Howard High School cultivates an environment that facilitates academic and personal growth by employing thoughtful, qualified, and caring staff, using hands on techniques to instill valuable lessons to students, and providing daily support to students through multiple venues. The extensive extracurricular community allows for any student to find their niche and thrive in it. The only problem I have with the school is the slight overcrowding that makes it difficult to manueveur throughout the building sometimes. I would recommend this school to parents, students, and teachers alike.
Howard High is a good high school - the teachers know how to teach, the students are kind and respectful; the administration takes school issues very seriously. If a specific student needs specific help with anything - whether the matter be related to school, home, or mental health issues - the school is ready with resources to provide. Howard High focuses on each individual student and their present, as well as their future. Every issue that arises: fights, bullying, an inappropriate teacher, the school takes each issue by the horns and fully abolishes it.
Howard High School has helped me grow as a person and find the path I want to follow in the future. The teachers are always willing to hear from the students and they will try to help as best as they physically can. I have also found a solid and core friend group from high school. Making this group has allowed me to expand my horizons and find my place in different groups. Howard High School has also allowed for me to join many groups that I personally thought I could never join. Being in National Honor Society, Science Honor Society, and the Varsity field hockey team. At the end of the day there is always room for approvement, but Howard has allowed me to find my true self and has given me many resources as well as chances to excelle currently and in the future.
