I enjoy Houston Quran Academy as a great school to be part of. Every place has its limitations, and for this school, it is the lack of sports and a big facility, but overall, I love the beautiful environment and challenging academics that I am offered. I take part in both Student council and MUN. The school also offers National Honor Society, which I look forward to joining next year. It is a great experience. Also, I believe that if I try hard enough, the school has more than enough to offer for me to get into a top colleges. For Houston Quran Academy, what matters isn't how the big the school is, but how friendly the environment is and how many oppurtunities we can have in our future from going there.

Houston Quran Academy (HQA) is a close knit Islamic school with a culturally diverse student body. The school has been actively engaged with interfaith activities. HQA exemplifies tolerance and welcomes people of different backgrounds. At the school, everyone cares for one another and it has seamlessly tied religious education with secular education.

The teachers at our school are well qualified and experienced, yet they are under payed and do not have any benefits. Due to a small student body and lack of funds, the teachers are teaching with a higher purpose. They have sacrificed their time, energy, and money into providing a quality education for the students. I have learned to truly admire their sacrifice in teaching students. They are truly teaching for the joy of educating others.

This Islamic school has taught me how to become a productive, contributing member of my community. Even though the school is small, it has made a big impact in my life.
Overall, the school is pretty good. They really need to get a more permanent building because the number of students increase every year. The faculty and staff is nice and helpful.
