I began to attend Houston Adventist Academy in 7th grade, since then the teachers have made it their purpose to make everyone feel loved and cared for. The teachers care about our education and not only that but our spiritual growth as well. They make sure that the kids who attend the school learn a bit about God. One thing that I would like to see change would be the campus in general. Although the education at the school challenges you, the campus is not the best. It could use some fixing, however, other than that everything else is good.
I like the way they teach, academics, teachers,Administration, sports, food, facilities, parent involvement etc. And they prepare you for the future by teaching both Bible. They build your mind set.
I love this school because it got me closer to God and helped me become more intellectual. It also helped choose what I want to do in life. This school gives me so many opportunities and it helps you whenever you need the help.
The Oaks is a school that needs serious help. It is a school that is very willing to accept you and help you grow socially, intellectually, and possibly spiritually. That being said, as an alum from the school, the school has major pride issues in the minds of the students. No one as far as I knew that went to the school has ever been majorly proud to have graduated within the school. If they had the same friends/teachers in another school, they'd much rather take the other school.
I love the environment and the way the students bond with each other! As a school, there are a lot of spiritual activities and they just make you feel at home. The staff are very kind as well as the students, everyone is so friendly
It's a wonderful school, has a very united environment and everybody is very welcoming. Teachers are very dedicated to their students, and the students are just as dedicated. Location should definitely change due to being flooded twice.
Overall my experience at the Oaks has been amazing. This is only my second year and I've made multiple friends. Everyone there is very friendly and will take you in.
I love this school because everyone is so friendly to each other. It's a small school so everyone knows everyone. This school has a good Christian environment
I like Ms. Gill because she isn't just a teacher to me, she is also my friend. This makes the learning experience more fun and interesting.
