Houma Christian School Reviews

My name is Gabriella Delgado and I have attended Houma Christian school since the sixth grade. I had transferred over from a very strict catholic school that I was attend. My first impression of the school was that it was quite small yet everyone was very nice. Even to this day that holds true the school is very small and everyone is like family. Along with keeping God at the center of everything that we do. However, with it being a smaller school I feel that I have less opportunities and room to grow and kind of spread my wings. Sometimes I wish I didn't know everyone so that I could make new bonds and friendships. Overall thought I truly do love my school family.
In my experience with Houma Christian School, I’ve had one of the best high school experiences. I have made so many friends and have opened my self up to meeting new people. The teachers are truly amazing and have the one on one experience with every child at that school. They have helped me become more confident in every way possible. The staff is always willing to help and be there for each student. This is what my experience at Houma Christian School has been and I have appreciated every moment there.
Houma Christian is a school that puts on a good face, but unfortunately doesn't meet the standard I was hoping. Their teachers care little about the students wellbeing, favoritism runs rampant through the children of the administrators, and they put a heavy emphasis on sports, as though that would get us through college. They preach the "word of God" but can't be bothered to see past their own noses when it comes to inclusion, as they're racist, each and every one of the teachers.
