A very average school. The environment can become not quite hostile, but uncomfortable. Most teachers are willing to help, some don't even teach. Not really winning sports teams, but average school spirts. A great small town school experience.

One aspect of Horton High School that I love is the teacher care for their students. My teachers go above and beyond in teaching, help students after hours, and making each student feel apart and wanted. There have been times I need to go in before school for extra help, and not one of my teachers have told me know. They will come in on their extra time if I am having trouble. Each of my teachers cares about me on a personal level. Asking how sports and my home life is going. My teachers at Horton High School have always been there to push me, educate me, and prepare me for what is in store next.
I like Horton High, but it is very old and there needs a lot of upgrades to the building. this year we got a new principle and a new superintendent this year. they are doing well for there first year at Horton High, but there is a lot they need to learn about this school and so far they done a fairly good job of keeping the school safe and try to help kids with their problems. Over all I like Horton high, but there needs to have a change and get more upgrades with technology.
