My overall experience at Hornbeck High School was a great one! I made some great friendships that will last a lifetime! Hornbeck High School is a great facility, but it does have its flaws, like all schools do. I love the atmosphere, throughout my years of attending I was always surrounded by the loving teachers and staff. On the downside their teaching skills were only about par. I would like to see that they would try different teaching approaches in the oncoming years. They need to be more direct to the a student and not the whole class, by this i mean to focus on each student's unique learning style, no student can learn the same way as another. Hornbeck High School is a great school and I would highly recommend it!

Hornbeck is one of the friendliest schools in Vernon Parish. Hornbeck recently increased their security measures, and I have never felt in danger at the school. The lunchroom is the best part of my experience at Hornbeck. The lunch ladies are the kindest people you'll meet, and they go out of their way to make sure our food is to our student's liking. They definitely go above and beyond their job description, and the teachers are the same way. They classrooms create a relaxing feeling so learning comes easily and naturally.
Hornbeck is a good school.Teachers are nice and some students as well. The rules are in forced.Food is nice. Very athletic school. Talented students
