I overall like being enrolled in Horizon Science Academy STEM High School. They have many programs and academic opportunities there. These opportunities will only grow as they are developing a new, separate building for juniors and seniors. Overall I really like the clubs and activities but dislike the current location.
This school is pretty good. The building is a bit small and is kinda cold but they are getting a new building so that will improve. The food is ok and the serve pizza every thursday. The school offers a lot of different ways to prep for college and also pathways to careers. The teachers are mostly nice and chill especially Mr.Harminson who lets people come in during lunch and play games. 8/10 school
Horizon science academy was not the type of school I thought I would end up in when I moved from New York City to Ohio. To begin with, the school had so much diversity, people from China, East Africa, West Africa, Asia, Cuba, etc. Overall, this school has amazing staff members who support the students, a great big community that sticks together, and many wonderful opportunities when it comes to education, getting ahead for your future, and extracurricular activities. One thing that does need to be changed is the location of the school. The building itself was a furniture store prior to becoming a school. The ceilings have nails poking out of them, they also leaked.
