The only way I could do that was if you wanted me too I could come and pick it out and then I can go pick up it from the store or whatever and I could just go pick up some

I think the school should expand more so there's more space for all grades. I think we should have more sports like football and soccer as well.

I liked how my school picked out fun and educational school field trips for us to go on and school events they would hold yearly.

I always loved the way teachers make sure you are prepared for all life challenges, they make sure to prepare you for life after high school and make it seem not so difficult. One things i think we should improve of is how to handle kids who aren’t use to being in school, since the pandemic we fell behind and kids my age are struggling to finish. HSA has been a second home and i’d like to say they have been like family.

The teachers and stuff how friendly they are. The great community makes you feel welcomed. The diversity within the school and you’ll meet a lot of great people. The school really paves a way for opportunities to have a successful future.

What I really like about my school is that all of our teachers genuinely care about not only our education but also our well being and how we feel.

I like that Horizon is very diverse and its a nice small school where you can exprience that 1 on 1 learning.

I love that the school employs educators that care enough to change their teaching to fit what the students need. The teachers and staff go out of their way to help students and families. They have standards that are meant to be upheld but will work with you if you are struggling or need some lenience in certain situations. The classes are small enough to give that direct communication needed in the classroom, but are large enough to give the students plenty of socialization. The school tries to provide every resource they can to their students. Everyone at Horizon is there because they want the opportunities that HSA gives them in having a future.

Ive been here for years, and the environment is amazing! Very good education, friendly teachers and beautiful set ip and deign improvements. I will miss this school so much when i graduate. They are like family to me.

Horizon was a good school overall, I felt that they prepared me for college, and i connected really well with the teachers, but there were some underlying issues, I felt some people overlooked others and had some favoritism.

Teachers are excellent and all staff are very kind ,professional and friendly . However music and art activities and lessons need to be improved.

A great small school where the teachers really care about you! I have had trouble in school in the past and many times staff will sort of give up to do my behavior, at Horizon the staff takes their time with you, to be sure you understand the material and have after school tutoring if you need more.
I'm glad my Dad sent us here, I've had a great experience!!

Horizon science acadmey is a small school but the environment is very friendly and so caring for their students.

it has great teachers and good programs that helps us with college entries and applications, however, the building is a little old and it needs a bit of repairing

I like Horizon Science Academy Lorain because it has given me an opportunity to grow as a person and learn a lot more than I would anywhere else in my city.The staff and teachers are always supportive and will do anything to help the students here succeed. I would love to see the students become more active in their school culture.

I've currently been going to horizon for the past two years and I can say its been a pretty good experience. Classes are small the teachers are very helpful and caring. The only thing I would change about the school is the lunches. They are god awful like horrible. I know there free and all but come on we can do better than the plastic wrap microwave Salisbury steak. Which was a burger paddy with gravy and cold green beans.

It helps you get a head start on your dream. The teachers and staff are so amazing and help you with anything you need. They are nice and set you up for whatever it is you want to do in the future, whether its college or the armed forces, they will help you with it all.

Personally I have been at this school for 10 years. Starting at 2nd grade and graduating here. Throughout the years I have had an amazing experience. The staff members know everyone by name and they really do care about the student.

Without Horizon Lorain i would be who i am. I've attended horizon since i was in 6th grade. When entering into horizon i struggled in school and got suspended a lot. From 6th grade to 12th I've only had one detention. The school works with us and makes sure we are prepared. It is definitely more strict then the local schools but without it being strict it would be chaos.
