I like that Horizon Science Academy Toledo helps you so much when it comes to colleges. Since it is a college prep school they make sure you work hard your senior year to make sure you get into the colleges of your choice. They pay for the ACT for you twice so that way you don't have to and overall when it comes to college decisions they go out of their way for you. I wouldn't make any academic changes to the school. If I could change something it would be stuff like lunches and certain things we can wear but other than that I enjoy how hard they make you work and how much they push you to go into college.

my four years at horizon has been fun. Each year, my experience has gotten better with the teachers. the student to teacher ratio is really good and this allows teachers to build a relationship with each teacher.
Horizon is a great school when it comes to preparing kids for college. We take monthly tests to track our knowledge of what we've learned or for teachers to learn what we need help on. The teachers are always excited to teach their field of study, they are also very honest when talking about colleges. The only downside is the food. Most of the food come out of plastic wrappers, some people even reported seeing mold in their lunches. Horizon is also a school run by Turkish people; So most of our teachers are Turkish people with strong accents (most of the time hard to understand). My best advice is to pack your lunch and always take notes in certain classes.
