At my time at Horizon, I learned the core values of what it takes to be a leader. I had great friends who always pushed me academically. And I also loved my teachers. The only thing I would change about the school is to start a football team! I'm a big fan and it was always sad watching other schools and their teams compete without us. I also want a fun of all the assignments. I think the best way I learn is from my own personal experience. But I do understand now that there are some things, like math, that you just can't teach yourself.

I've attended Horizon Honors High School for almost 4 years, starting my Freshman year in 2016 and onto 2020. From the beginning I've loved all the teachers I've had, plus or minus two. I've learned so much about college and the process through my teachers, who provide so much experience and insight to the real world and life after high school. It's my favorite school that I've attended because of how great the staff and teachers are. I was given so many opportunities and outlets to clubs/resources etc that I would not have anywhere else. My school is very academic based and a small environment, so you can have one-on-one learning with your teacher. That being said, if you don't care about your education, don't attend school here. I'd say I've been prepared well to be an adult and that I enjoyed my high school years.
Horizon Honors is so supportive. I have been able to voice my opinions and be who I am. I have started clubs, held leadership positions, and started a major drive. Horizon is amazing! All they need is a football team lol
