In my high school experience, I had the opportunity to grow academically and personally, but there were certainly challenges along the way.
The best parts of my high school experience were the strong sense of community and the supportive environment that encouraged personal growth and academic excellence. I had exceptional teachers who were passionate about their subjects and genuinely cared about the success of their students.
Looking forward to improvements, I would like to see a greater emphasis on mental health support and stress management within the school system. It's crucial to equip students with the tools and resources to navigate the challenges they face.
In summary, my high school experience was a mix of positive growth and challenges. Enhancements in mental health support and efforts to cultivate a more inclusive environment would greatly benefit students and contribute to a more enriching educational experience.

Horizon has been an amazing school so far in my high school career. It has taught me lessons and helped me find myself along the way. Horizon offers amazing academic programs through their advanced placement classes and their world language opportunities. The best part of experience so far has been the great spirit and school pride exhibited at sporting events, pep rallies, and other school related events. The worst part of the school is that the bathroom are constantly closed due to vandalization. Although the school cannot control the actions of its students, I think it would be better if it made a larger effort to control this issue.
HHS is underfunded, overcrowded, and run-down. Each teacher has between 30 and 40 students to a class, and the building has not been updated to accommodate the rapid growth in its student population. It is very difficult to find room for one-on-one learning with teachers and very often I was left feeling clueless in my classes because the teacher was unable to answer all the questions posed by the students. All this said, I have met some truly astounding teachers at this high school, teachers who taught with passion and care for the students they were teaching, and who tried their best to work with the oversized classes. The English department in particular is filled with magnificent teachers who fostered in me and many of my friends a love of literature and writing.
