The best parts about this wonderful school is the amazing student-staff connections. Teachers car and many of us would consider them as amazing friends. Not only that but the school spirit is unreal! Some of thr bad things would be at times some teachers don't grade on time which can throw off grades and there is often student altercations and drug use in restrooms.
Horizon High school was a very fun and great experience! They were very helpful in all the ways possible. If you were stuck on something or a particular topic, the school staff and employees would go out of their way to make sure you understood the assignment!
I didn't like anything about Horizon High School. Everything they do makes no sense. Not only does the school force upon us the rules, which is good but it makes no sense that the favoritism is out of the roof when it comes to those rules being followed. Just if you are part of a sport you get out of trouble easily, and the whole system is unfair. The teachers are awful, hardly pay attention to what you truly need help on, and they lack in a lot of fields that a teacher shouldn't be lacking on. For example, If I need help they tend to just give me a youtube video to watch instead of them themselves helping me hands-on since we are in a classroom environment. All the threats teachers give in order for you to graduate make no sense as well, instead of threatening us to fail, why don't you push us to do better and fix the mistakes that we do? The campus is beautiful but the staff make it awful and impossible to stay.
