Horizon's High School staff is amazing! The partnership between Supervising teachers, highly qualified subject area teachers, counselors, and parent educators creates a personalized, supportive, and inclusive environment that allows students to thrive. Students can participate in a variety of clubs to deepen their personal areas of interest. This year the Leadership Club organized a prom for all Horizon high school students!
Horizon Charter School is an outstanding independent study program! The teachers and staff are truly dedicated to the families they serve. Many clubs, field trips, and activities are available as well.
Horizon Charter School is a school that offers independent studies. I love how I can advance by taking college classes while in highschool. Because of this, I have been able to take various college English classes and even get an idea of what I would like to do after graduation. The counselor I got is great at their job and strives to answer all questions I may have about graduation and entering college. The school offers zoom classes and tours with different colleges to be better informed of what it is we may need to be prepared before entering college. I love how my ST is on top of everything and makes sure to reach out to all their students if they need anything. We also have meetings with out ST every month to see how we are doing and any updates. The school is efficient and I find that I am completing my studies at my pace while at the same time they make sure I am not getting behind. I find that this school is much better than that of a public school.
