I am currently a senior at HHS and it’s very enjoyable, and we’re a small school so you get to know everyone and lots of teachers love to help the students with whatever.

Horatio High School is a small school where students can rely on teachers and staff members. Student get prepared for college with the schedule given annually. Involving more students at Horatio High School is a change that should be considered.
I came to Horatio during my sixth grade year. I thought that I would hate it and be treated the same as my last school, but the student and teachers are wonderful. They treat you like family and make sure that everyone is happy. The teachers always ask how they can improve and how they can prepare you for the future. Overall Horatio high school has made me a better person.
Horatio High School provided me to prepare for college by taking college classes through Cossatot Community College. This is one of the experiences that I enjoyed having for the past two years. Though, I was not going to take college credit classes because I thought that it would be difficult l, but I am beyond thankful that I did take that opportunity. One thing that I would like to see changed is that the school would provide real world classes to underclassmen.
In a simple and honest opinion, my school district is very stabile. In reality the teachers are excellent in helping us understand the martial as for the readiness of college and the safety of every student within the studies. I only honestly wish that there could be more clubs that help our school for our involvement with our community. I have always wanted a drama club with our school, to help us have a better opportunity with ourselves. Overall the staff members are very cervical with the students for any particular reason, whether for academics or counseling.
Students help one another within our school. When I partake involve with everyone I can honestly say that I am comfortable within our school. The safety at this place has as well helped us whether its for our studies of self esteem.

Horatio High School is one of the greatest schools a student can attend. It is a good size school, with caring teachers that care about your future. I enjoy learning experience as Horatio. Its so clear and understanding. I would change the my school if I could.
I am currently a senior at Horatio High School and I love this school because it is so one on one. The students and teachers all have personal interactions. It is so much easier to learn when you can sit and talk with any teacher rather than being in a class with 50 plus students.
High school was great for me! I had my little group of friends that would hang out at the same places everyday and do the same things, day in, and day out. The routine never got old though. Everybody just kinda goes along with the ebb and flow of life there. I do wish that the teachers and administrators were more fair. I personally never had a problem with them, but many if my friends did. The rules were always bent a little bit fir the athletes and cheerleaders, not that they didn't work hard, and deserve to go to their games and other events, but the band students were not allowed to leave classes early when the teacher had just let a baseball player leave to go to practice early, simply because he didn't want to be in class that day. For the most part, the faculty and staff really do care about the students. They don't only care about what the test scores show, but what's going on in the lives of their students.
Hit offers a verity of classes
Not what you would like
The teachers are ok but always has favorites teaching styles are very deverse they mostly have the knowledge
I have no complaints from attending Horatio High School. It was a good experience!
I learned enough in high school to where my college classes did not consume me. I had developed study habits and had learned to properly write a college-level paper.
Teachers are always ready to help, and if they are unable to make time for the students after school, they make time in class. The computer labs are always open throughout the day, and most teachers will allow the students to go to the labs if they are finished with the classwork for that day. Also, there are some classes with iPads that are available for the students. Our high school is brand new, so all of the facilities, classrooms, and technologies are up to date. There are ACT classes provided and tutors available. We have two guidance counselors that are ready to help with any issue someone may have, and parent involvement is encouraged. Busses are always available to take students to college classes in the mornings/afternoons, to pick students up and to take them home, to get players to their games, and to take students on field trips.
I do not play sports, but we have a nice gym and the players have all the proper, up-to-date equipment that they need. We have very spirited pep ralleys and several of the students attend games. The teams perform well together and practice hard, and are also well supported by the student body, school faculty, and the families of the students and players.
I feel safe at school, but sometimes the food is gross. We do not see a lot of physical bullying, but a little verbal abuse can be seen from time to time. I do not feel threatened at school, and there are security cameras everywhere. I live in a small rural town so it is not necessary for the police to patrol the grounds. The nurse knows enough to keep the students taken care of, and the school overall is a safe environment.
