I have had so many problems with this school.
-friends being bullied and the school doing nothing about it
-fine arts department completely neglected
-people only care about the sports kids
-limited class choices
-teachers making female students uncomfortable, faculty doing nothing about it
-terrible cafeteria food
-the dress code is biased towards boys and skinny girls
-hardly any extracurriclars other than sports!
The only thing I like about this school is the academics, though I have struggled a lot in many of my classes, despite being an honor roll student.

I love my school! I am currently a junior, and I have been in this school district since grade 4. The school is relatively small, with anywhere from 60-80 students per grade. Some people might see this as a negative thing, but I think that this makes us more of a tight-knit community and makes school more enjoyable. Everyone is very friendly, and it is a very academic and athletics- based school.
Some of the things I love about HMHS is college readiness. All of the guidance counselors are always ready to help and be by your side through it all. The schedule is also wonderful, being Day 1 and Day 2 schedule where I have four 75 minutes blocks one day, then a different four the next, and they rotate. My biggest issue with the school, however, would have to be the lack of student involvement. I come from a school in Vermont where student involvement was everything, we had clubs; lots of them. We had a whole student cooperative run by students largely to better the school, here we don't have that. In fact, starting a club is rather difficult and student's involvement in overall change and administration is slim to none. Otherwise, this school has wonderfully prepared me and is very rigorous.
