I liked Hopkins they had a good support system. They recently have been increasing their staff diversity as well, which has been really nice so that people of color can have staff support from someone who understands them. They offer so much help to all student for everything you could imagine. Lunches are spectacular as well!!
I absolutely loved the teachers there. They supported me through a lot. I also was able to find my passion in journalism through the school newspaper, The Royal Page. They are very focused on including more diversity and celebration of diversity within the school and its curriculum. It's a great school for kids and gives you a very diverse look on the world.
The teachers are awesome, they do a great job engaging students and giving them meaningful experiences which will help them in the future.
I would like to see change in the effort in the teachers. The teachers don’t treat all the students the same. Some teachers lack at teaching as well.
Hopkins is a great public school. Teachers are good. Has great diversity and a good environment to grow up in and learn a lot of others with different beliefs and backgrounds. Nice kids and fun sporting events.
People who don't have experience or an understanding of other schools in the area, don't understand how good Hopkins is. The teacher's are amazing, teach a global view.
I liked Hopkins. I was an active student in orchestra. I was the Concert Master of the orchestra. I also enjoyed my French courses. The last level that I completed was French Level 6. It was a College in the Schools (CIS) program. When I went to college, I tested out of my World Language requirement so it allowed me to take other courses. I also enjoyed my Advanced Placement courses. I took all of the exams and used the credits for college credit. Hopkins was a great place for me to thrive.
Hopkins High is an amazing school. The environment is friendly and it's easy to make friends here because people are willing to introduce you to the school and to their own friends. Teachers are very friendly, they help you when you need it and guide you on your path through high school!
The school environment makes it a priority to ensure that students have some sort of time to complete even the smalles amount of work that could be homework into the school day. There are a lot of opportunities to get help after school and the overall majority of teachers do a great job of being flexible with the students here.
I really enjoyed the opportunities this school gave me. I have been able to meet lifelong friends and teammates through the cross country coaches. The diversity here is also great, I am able to be in contact with so many different cultures which really gives me a taste of the world. The academics here are also rigorous at the AP and CIS level.
It is very diverse and welcoming. There is so much to do around it, and the students come from different cities. It is a great community, and there are many fun sports to watch or participate in.
Hopkins Senior High is ranked 49th within Minnesota. Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement coursework and exams. It's diverse and the school feels like a family. There is a bond.
The diversity of the school is amazing and gives students a sense of the real world. A majority of the teachers are great but there is a few bad ones. My number one complaint is the counselors. While there is a couple of good counselors a vast majority of them are not great.
Good school. Good education. Good diversity. the staff and faculity are very caring and really do enjoy their jobs. and the students seem to feel they arre in a safe and dtable enviormemt.
Hopkins High School is a very nice school that loves to help every student in their schools succeed and in my senior year they are extra helpful with finalizing applications and applying to schools.
What I love about Hopkins High is that it feels like home and the teachers and staff are caring and helpful. What I would love to see change is that teachers should connect more with students.
Hopkins is a good school for academics and career help. the teachers are all very helpful and they are here to help everybody with their success after school. although there isn't much in school activities or clubs, it is still a fun school regardless.
