Since moving to Hopewell, I've seen real change, action, and acceptance throughout the industry. I loved how teachers take time to personally help each child, and the relationships that they've created. I can truly appreciate the accepting environment that lets me be myself in a positive way. I've also seen real change happen throughout my four years. I can say that I am proud to be graduating from this school.
My experience at Hopewell isn’t a bad one. This is just an average high school. What I did notice when I got up to high school from the Junior high, was all the people there are nicer. The teachers, the students. Obviously there are still bullies, but it is less frequent. The academics are fairly good, not much you can’t do. The sports are also out there. Hopewell isn’t the best but they do offer quite a bit.
Hopewell Senior Highschool I feel was an average school. At no point in time was I taught to do anything that could prepare me for applying for scholarships, colleges, grants. A majority of the teachers were kind and I believe a majority of them tried their best and did want to genuinely help students. Most of my teachers were kind and would allow extensions, or test retakes which was always appreciated. I believe our school genuinely tried to improve itself with assemblies that included motivational speakers. Along with fun and entertaining pep assemblies. My Highschool had a very good music program with lots of opportunities for students with musical desire. This includes musical, band and chorus where anybody who wanted to join could. Overall I can't say my experience was terrible with all of the friends and education I was luckily given.
