LOVE Hope. The teachers are the best thing. They love the Lord and the kids and invest themselves deeply into the students' lives. The High School campus has the vibe of a college campus. The Middle School building is nice, and the Elementary are upgrading from portables to a permanent building this next year. So excited for what God is doing at Hope!

I believe Hope Christian School is a great overall school with many strong points in both academic and sports areas. I believe the community built throughout my years at Hope Christian School is a very strong one that really encourages a strong learning environment. Hope also has a very strong athletic department which encourages strong sportsmanship. Although Hope does have a lot of benefits there are a few downsides to it, one of them are the way the discipline is improvised could be improved. But overall hope has a great learning environment that provides a great environment.
I simply cannot suggest this school to anyone. I spent more time studying for the Bible class than any other. The other classes and teachers were average. Math was great. This school is sports heavy. Hope promised an amazing drama program, but it was more like a social hour than drama. I couldn't find one friend in the school who seemed honestly Christian. Lots of swearing. There were significant bullying problems. The school has no guidance counselor. The nurse filled this role, but as a student who has issues with school phobia, there wasn't a ton of support or resources. I never felt very safe at school. I had to cross the street several times a day for classes. There is no high school library. The rules of the school were ridiculously strict. No devices were allowed on during school hours. As someone who uses talking on the phone as a coping mechanism, this was a difficult adjustment. The dress code was strict as well, but wasn't a uniform, at least.
