Amazing experience overall, I grew to appreciate my classmates as family, and my teachers as mentors.
I love attending at Hope Academy. Hope Academy is a Christian Private school which is nice since we all are family. With my classmates we all get along which is something that I looked out towards at schools since when I attended a public school there was a lot of drama which I did not like and you would not talk to everyone. What I like most of Hope Academy is that we learn about God and have the opportunity to go on mission trips and share the word of God to those who don't know him.
I love the energy I feel when I walk into the building at Hope Academy. Teachers and administrators are all intentional about everything they do-- from academics to spiritual and emotional life of the students and families. My kids are so well cared for there! The diversity represented there is beautiful and I love that my kids have teachers, leaders, mentors, and friends from many different backgrounds.
There is a genuine peace about this school. The teachers are phenomenal, going above and beyond to help their students and families navigate through educational and life challenges. I've really appreciated the care that they have for my kids and their classmates. I'd strongly recommend this school.
I have seen how the school has grown over the years and the school still has areas that still need work as a school, it is not perfect, but it is a great community where the families feel safe and the education is much better academically they help the students to grow educationally and also give the knowledge of God, which as a parent has helped me a lot to grow spiritually. I would also like to see if the lunch would be better for the students. I would like to see more opportunities to link with the Latino community and the other communities as well.
My students have attended Hope Academy for the last 6 years, throughout middle and high school. This year, we added an elementary age student. We are pleased with the small school environment that makes a big impact on their academic, spiritual and emotional development. I highly recommend Hope Academy to other families for their commitment to a strong, affordable education for all students, while celebrating and welcoming ethnic diversity.
All our children have attended Hope Academy since Kindergarten, they are now in college and high school. The staff and teachers have all gone above and beyond to push my children to do more than they thought possible, have seen my children's hearts behind their behaviors, and have helped them understand the Lord's goodness to them throughout all of life. We are so thankful for Hope Academy and the caring community it has provided for our family!
Hope is an amazing school: it is diverse, Christ-centered, and filled with caring teachers! I currently have four children enrolled and I love the education and care that they get. I highly recommend Hope Academy!
I love the heart of this school and the desire it has to give students in the Phillips neighborhood and beyond a great education. The teachers deeply care about their students, have expertise in their subject areas and go above and beyond to serve the students.
The school environment is warm and welcoming. Parents are viewed as partners in the education of their children and have many opportunities to be involved in the school community.
Above all, this school wants students to put their hope in God.

Great education, Teachers and staff show that they care about my child's success by offering support in school work, showing up for them in situations when family is having difficult times.
Hope Academy is an incredible school. They have some of the most hardworking and passionate teachers I've ever seen! The community here feels so genuine and loving, the academics are high and they teach to students hearts. I would 10/10 recommend this school!!!
Alumni here.
I remember having an epiphany towards the end of 7th grade; my everyday life consisted of books, truants, dealers, and bullies, not a great spot, changes had to be made. Not long after I burst through the door after school startling my parents and told them my plan to transfer all their kids to a better place. They were very skeptical, but I knew they’d come around. I heard of Hope through a family friend, and I went with it.
And somehow all 4 siblings made it in
A few years later, if there was anything I learned was; the teachers are caring, encouraging, and demand the best of our abilities. Second, the staff are friendly and willing to help anyone in need; whether escorting a new student to class, or guiding a small child to the nurse's office. Third, while the food was average and could definitely be improved I could see the effort that the lunch ladies would make to appeal to the students.
History classes are in order, more languages and extra curricular.

I love Hope Academy. I have gone here since kindergarten and it is a wonderful community. The diversity is amazing. The teachers all care about you nd support you.
Great Christian education with students who have been trained to hide their sin well. A lot of students here are very fake!
I went to the placement center today after Hope denied my children and there is not a school around who has space for the both of them. Not their home school Barton, and not even the school they came from. Hope Academy really really left us down and out. Literally and figuratively. There's nothing hopeful, holey or right about their process or anything that they just put us through after already being through it.
In the bible I thought it was said that though shall not judge and that though shall not have to be percieved as perfect to be accepted in the kingdom of the Lord.
Hope Academy should feel very ashamed of themselves and I would not ever want my children anywhere they were not wanted so at least if nothing else they let us know that much after three weeks of additional unnecessary pain and suffering.

There are absolutely no words to describe Hope Academy. My high school career was probably one of the best experiences in my life. Not only does Hope Academy have a Christ centered community, but it has one big happy family! The friendships and support I received from this school will never be forgotten!
What I liked about Hope Academy is that it is a Christian school but you do not have to be a Christian to attend, but I was just starting to be one at the time I got accepted. I feel like Hope Academy for me change my character and my personality in a lot of good ways it helped me grow into the person that I am today .
