Well, this is going to be my fourth year here at Hoover High school. I strongly agree it is a great school, all of the teachers and staff support the students pushing them to do the best they can. The Counselors are eexcellent they listen to any of our concerns or questions we may have and they help us find a solution to the best of their abilities. Not only is the staff great but the parental support is too, we have a substantial amount of parents who come in help the students through many events and meetings we have. Although many people may title this school as “ghetto” “dirty” it is not it is the students themselves that may not know how to behave, they need to know when and when not to exceed their actions, but overall the school and it’s system is excellent!

My experience at Hoover High School is like a wish come true. There are staff that treat you like you're family and so much more! The academies at Hoover High School (especially AHHC, the Health Academy)had helped me gain greater understanding of the human anatomy for my future careers : Molecular geneticist, Xenobiologist, and Holistic Doctor. The JROTC program has helped me reached a physical and mental potential that I never even thought I had inside of me!
I like the staff/teachers. All that I have interacted/have had as instructors are easy to interact and chat with. The diversity at this school is off the charts! There are kids from literally everywhere and the teachers are diverse in both race and teaching wise. There are plenty of resources to aid students in financial aid, SAT help, and college applications. Hoover also offers a great amount of clubs and activities for students to join!
