I absolutely loved Hoover High School! The faculty and staff were all very friendly and willing to help. The education was superior quality compared to other schools in the area. It is the best school I have ever attended, and I have moved quite a bit. They made sure that we were well-rounded by offering several different clubs and extracurricular activities, and they'd meet while school was in session to ensure that nobody was left out due to inability to stay after school hours, etc. This school is amazing! The diversity level is high, and the are accepting of different cultures. The technology is well kept up to date! They provided us with Ipads and we rarely used anything but the iPads, so we used hardly any paper, which helps the environment by reducing waste.

My experiences at Hoover High School was great. I played on the football team, where we was successful in winning multiple state championships. The coaches really helped team in being better men in soiciety. The teachers prepares the students for the next level. The programs the school offers also helped with success in college. They offered AP and IB programs to help to get started on your college credits. The clubs were great for all students to participate in. They had variety of clubs that students could choose that interested them. I chose the DECA club because I was always interested in Business. DECA was a big factor for me choosing to pursue a Business degree in college. Overall Hoover High School has resources for all students to be successful in life. If I could change anything it would be to have better cafeteria food.
I loved the diversity in the student population. I also loved the opportunities to study various subjects along with dual enrollment. The extra curricular activities are awesome and the athletics teams play on a National Level.

There are an abundant of opportunities for student involvement in mentoring and community service activities. It doesn't matter what your interest may be, there is room for every student.

If I could change anything, it would more opportunity for less talented athletes a chance to compete. The large student body and high level of competition, makes it tough for all students to enjoy the benefits of being on a team.
