Hoosac Valley Middle & High School Reviews
Rating 3.14 out of 5 59 reviews
Many of the teachers here are wonderful and I have had an incredible time learning from most. This is a sports driven school and being one of the few people who doesn't participate in a school sport, I'm sure my experience here was different than the average persons. Nevertheless, I have made bonds that will last a long time and memories I will treasure forever. I recommend getting involved in something with the school no matter how big or small it may seem. I am in the art club here and it has been amazing. We were the ones who painted the mural in the cafeteria! So many memories flood through these hallways and I will be sad to have to leave but I know I can always come back to visit.
This school is a very average school. I would love to see more diversity within the school. The one thing that makes me keep going back to the school are the teachers, especially my history teachers. They give me motivation to get up in the morning. My history teachers are the reason I want to be a Historian just like them.
My counselors, both academic and mental helped me through a lot of hardships, and made sure I still kept a focus on my academics. I wish there was a bit more pushing and guidance as far as the college process goes, but life support is definitely there. The administration hasn't always done the best at helping or coming to the best decision.
