More than a school, like an house: my house in the US. I began my experience at Hoosac last year when I was a Sophomore.
Since the beginning I immediately found a wonderful environment with polite people and nice teachers who helped me to fit in and know United States better.
I played soccer as my favorite sport but in Hoosac you can choose between several sports: we can practice like any traditional sport!
Next year it will be my last and I am sad to say goodbye to Hoosac because I grow up here and is a big part of my life. Probabily one of the best part of my life.

Hoosac school is a very good place to improve your academics, focus on studying and sports. I feel that the school really gives a big importance for sports. How ever, i think there are some points that the school should change/improve. In my opinion we should invest more on facilities, for example, places that the students ( boys and girls together)
can hangout in their free time. Also the system of getting food needs to be rethought. Another important point for me is that there are too many chinese and brazilian kids in the school, what i think is not very good in my opinion because first in my case, its harder to avoid speaking portuguese and because i think that the chinese kids as the brazilians end up staying too much in their own people.
Coming into my third year this school has been great for me. Community here is awesome with welcoming people and school really challenges you with the courses they give you. Arts program here is outstanding with variety of choices. Sports is also great but they need a hockey rink to make it even better! Other then that sports are very competitive and you learn a lot about the sports in the few weeks you play it.
