Being able to be part of Hoosac is an honor that any other high school parent would yearn to have. I always encourage parents and children alike that there is no other good school as Hoosac when it comes to the ever growing community, outstanding facility, education, academic variety, students, and fantastic Principal. There are the naysayers who allow their teen angst to hinder their true high school experience, however, some students take for granted the never ending opportunities provided to each individual. The diversity of our clubs and academics provide students with education to fit all unique career paths. Most notably, the very face of Hoosac principal and humble leader. He makes all efforts go to school activities, and maintaining a healthy environment for the school. The experience I have had overall in my four years attending this school is magnificently memorable!

We transferred jr year from to Hoosac(specifically for their academic program and school spirit) and they made the transition incredibly smooth & pleasant! My daughter came out of her shell at Hoosac and was filled with school pride for her school.More importantly, I have told many parent since the switch I wish I’d done it earlier because their academic program is unparalleled! They start in Jr High with college prep, SAT’s and preparing our kids to become adults. What a student completes in on year at other high schools, they complete in one semester. That notion scared us at first but, again, the teachers there made it easy for her/us! The teachers, counselors and staff are always caring, accessible and the communication is top notch!
I am incredibly grateful we made the switch!
I had a very interesting experience at the Hoosac School. I was very involved in their amazing music program and took advantage of all it could have given me. I would like to see more outside school activities go one and more sports involvement. There should be more school involvement with the students. Great academics and positive environment! Many activities to choose from. Focus on integrity, academics, character, school pride and leadership. Teachers are overall caring and willing to help those who are willing to ask. A positive education
