I went to this school k-12. I loved all the teachers I had. They know how to push you to do your best but don't over do it so you fail. I had the best English teacher for 3year of high school because they kept changing the grade she was teaching. But I give it all to Mrs. Burger she was the one to help me with my writing and every thing.
There are somer teachers there who really want what's best for their students. The students always have someone looking out for them. Academically I wish there were more options for classes but there is a fair amount.
Can't speak to Elementary/Middle School teachers and the administration can be difficult, but the teachers in the High School are all amazing. Declining enrollment puts good classes (SUPA Calculus, Gemini Astronomy/Meteorology, ALL Business classes!) at risk of being cut. This school is such a loving community, with a thriving art community, very strong STEM programs, excellence in LOTE programs, etc.
I went to this school for my entire life and til the day I graduated I was looked down upon for being from a family that did not grow up in this small town. The teachers are cliquey and talk badly about students to other students and all the administration cares about are the sports teams. This place is horrible except for a few wonderful staff members that made it berable. You'd think after 13 years everyone would be able to pronounce my last name right.
The teachers mostly only know the kids that participate and have the good grades. Its mostly the students that are great academically that gets the attention of the teacher.
Most Teachers are some of the Best in the area!
Being in a small town where everyone knows everyone, there are no issues.
We have some of the Best Teachers in the Area & Many Opportunities for such a small school!!
They do their best to make sure we are safe.
They work well with other students and allow them to step out of their comfort zones.
I enjoy playing sports, participating in numerous clubs, music, and other after school activities. It is easy to get involved at school.
The parents are very kind and supportive.
They're very kind and helpful and involved.
Honestly, there wasn't many options. Each day had its one menu meal which alternated depending on the day. But each of the day's foods seemed to be in rotation within a month's span, so there was no real variety unless you were a senior and had the ability to leave the school to go get lunch. Either that or pack your lunch.
The principal, guidance counselors, and office staff do a good job working with students for the most part on dishing out punishment. Preventing bullying was starting to really get clamped down on around when I had graduated
Sports are quite a large part of what the school offers for after school activities. Mainly focusing on Lacrosse, Softball, Baseball, and Soccer.
The overall quality of the teachers there are great. Each seem to have their teaching techniques but overall they have the students' best interests at heart.
