Hondo High School Reviews
Rating 3.51 out of 5 102 reviews
I like that Hondo high school has such a tight knit community, and that the people in the local town would show their full support for the students in the community, even if they did not know them personally. I felt very welcomed and cared for by numerous people. However, the academic atmosphere inside of the school could be tough to deal with at times, and the programs that were offered through the school weren't the best, but overall the school's environment made up for it. The memories that I made throughout my four years at hondo high will stay with me for the rest of my life, and my closest friends and I plan to stay in touch for as long as possible.
Hondo high school is a great place to get a better education and advance your skill sets! The school offers dual credit classes and advanced placement classes so that it’s students are prepared for the college level of education! On top of that, our school also offers life skills classes so that the students who are not looking towards college can have some prior knowledge and experience for their future jobs! Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot of funding for my school. Buildings are old and there are just as many roaches as there is students. Books are old and there’s a set amount of computers available to the students. However, despite its flaws, there’s no other high school of rather be a part of!
Hondo High school is a good school overall. The system has good protocol for keeping students safe. The teachers are mostly nice and friendly to the students which makes the environment more friendly. The only fault is that the staff needs to listen and be more lenient to the students wants and needs.
