There’s not really much to do other than maybe play a sport or join the dance or cheerleading team. They tried clubs but we didn’t really do well with that. Oh , and we don’t get a prom or anything like other schools do.
This school is very disorganized and poor management of the staff. My experience has been horrible so far. There are no activities for the students to participate in, and if there are, it always seems to get shut off
Homer High school is okay. Some of the teachers are really cool. They are very amazing and some of the staff as well. :-)
I liked the FFA. I loved the flag line and the spirit of our team. We are allowed to participate in religious holiday and to have candlelight activities for our members that have passed on.
I am currently a senior at Homer High School. I have been here for four years and I will be graduating in May, it is a bittersweet feeling but I am ready to go. Not because of the school but because I am ready to move on to bigger and better things. My school is fairly small averaging maybe 260 kids or less, but I think that is a good thing because we are all familiar with each other and the staff.
The students including myself have a good relationship with the teachers because we all live in or around the same community so the school structure is kept professional but it is easier to learn when you have a familiarity with the educator, it makes the environment more comfortable and stable.

Over the past couple of years I have got to experience alot with the different types of clubs and organization. What I like about my school is they do everything in their best not to let know one fell. What i dislike is that when one get in trouble they punish everyone.
At my school bully is not tolerated of any kind. We are very safe at our school, or school nurse is very helpful when we need her
My teachers at my school are the best they use everyday life things to help us with what it is we need to do. The go above and beyond to make sure that every student is getting what they need to do to graduate
The teachers can't be explained with 50 characters.
We don't have a lot of extracurricular activities, but the ones we do have are average and easy to do.
Most of my teachers,in my opinion are only there for a paycheck. I think if they cared more and actually respected the students as well as each other, then the environment would be a much more healthy place.
We have this new security system that only teachera can get into with a password. You can not go through the front office without permission. We have a gated school area where we all go during our lunch break.
We do not normally stay after school for any of our club organizations or extra curricular activities, other than basketball, football, and cheerleading. FBLA offers the high school students who are involved in FBLA to tutor students at the Local Boys and Girls Club. There are a handful of Homer High Students who commit to these after-school activities .
I don't attend any extracurricular activities .
I really like my school . I just wouldn't do it again because the kids there are very troublesome .
The teachers at my school do a their job well. They teach us what we need to know in order to make it to the real world !
What makes this school a unique is that you have teachers that really care about our future and don't wont to see us make bad choices. If i was to do it all over again i don't know if i would choose this school again.
