Homedale High School Reviews
Rating 3.41 out of 5 80 reviews
Homedale High School provides a comprehensive education to its students, offering a variety of academic and extracurricular programs. The school has a dedicated and experienced faculty, who are committed to providing students with a challenging and supportive learning environment. Homedale High School also has a strong athletic program, with a range of sports teams that compete at the local and state levels. The school also has a vibrant arts program, with opportunities for students to participate in music, theater, and visual arts. Overall, Homedale High School is a great place to learn and grow, with a supportive community and a commitment to excellence. I’ve grown up in homedale for over 18 years, its small town community allows perfect friendships. With this being said I would 100% put my own children through Homedale’s education.
Homedale High School has a very close-knit, community focused environment. Due to the size of the school, the student-teacher relationships are more personal. However, the academics are below-average and lack diversity; class options are slim, causing the academic intensity and interest to be low. This school seems to prioritize athletics over academics, although this has its drawbacks. On the other hand, the teachers are welcoming and open to their students. I have had many positive interactions with my teachers and have been influenced greatly by a select few.
I've met a lot of wonderful people at Homedale High, but as it stands, this school can be kind of rough around the edges. The school values grit, tenacity, and passion. In the process, it lets go of kindness and diversity. The teachers are amazing, and so good at their jobs, but they let kids truly get away with anything. And those kids can be so mean. But there's something charming about a small community, and at the end of the day, I'm glad I went to this school.
