Holy Trinity School is amazing! The teachers are some of the most caring people in the world, and the administration goes out of the way to make sure that the children receive the right balance of nurturing and knowledge. One of the best feelings in the world is hearing you child share openly about how much they like talking to Charlie Hennessy or hearing about listening to stories from Daniela Krum. These experiences don't just make school fun and exciting. They teach children that community matters. That is a life lesson that will be as valuable as anything that they ever learn in a book.
We enrolled our three boys at HTS in 2020 (just after the COVID pandemic hit) and we could not be happier. The teachers and administrators are top notch, always going the extra mile to ensure that our boys are learning and, equally as important, happy. The small classrooms ensure that our children receive plenty of individual attention and the community is welcoming and tight knit. In addition to academic excellence, HTS focuses on building character and being a "person for others." I give HTS my highest recommendation!
Holy Trinity is a wonderful school. Our daughter is going into her third year there and we could not be happier. She is enriched everyday by a staff that fosters a sense of warmth and community. Principal McShane’s leadership is ubiquitous on campus, and contagious. In the classroom our child is challenged to think creatively and critically while learning how to make a positive impact on others.
Holy Trinity is a wonderful school with a warm and welcoming community. The teachers, administrators and staff foster a positive learning environment. The class sizes are small so students get personalized attention from their teachers. Students are well prepared for high school when they graduate from Holy Trinity. It is all around excellent school.
We were parents at HTS for 19 years and recently graduated our youngest. We all LOVED our time there. It is a phenomenally supportive community of parents and students that work in concert with incredible staff and teachers. The Jesuit identity of the school is very strong and adds a richness to the experience that can't be beat. It would be nearly impossible to image a school that we would recommend more highly. Counted our blessings every day that we were part of the HTS Family.
Our son started at Holy Trinity last year during the Pandemic and the school just became our family. Through all sorts of ups and downs, they were incredibly supportive. They addressed the pandemic with thoughtfulness and resourcefulness. We feel fully engaged in the amazing community. The other parents have become great new friends. The administration and teachers are very welcoming and accommodating. The classwork has been so creative and fun for our now Kindergartener. He loves coming to school everyday and has formed great bonds with his classmates. There's great aftercare. We can't wait for our other children to join him.
We love HTS, such a great community and learning environment. Our daughter has excelled at Holy Trinity. The teachers, administrators and staff have gone above and beyond to make learning as safe and accessible as possible during the pandemic.
I've been pleased overall with Holy Trinity. There is a heavy Jesuit influence at the school, and that was a priority for our family. The students definitely graduate with a well developed sense of social consciousness and a desire for justice. The education is excellent and innovative. The staff is top notch. The school may not be well suited for a child with extreme learning differences, but they can handle smaller issues in house. The parents are heavily involved at the school, and the teachers are incredibly communicative. Holy Trinity is working on becoming more diverse, and I've seen genuine improvement in that area. The setting in Georgetown is great, and the teachers help the kids to be a part of both the neighborhood and the city in general through field trips, etc.
