Life at Holy Spirit throughout my 3 years so far has been excellent!! Sports are a big part of our school and you are always encouraged to participate in clubs and sports! Classes are engaging and students are very supportive and welcoming!!
I love this school ! It's the best experience I could have ever had . My mother and my father attended the school as well as my twin sister. We totally embrace the school. Awesome experience play tons of sports really enjoyed the camaraderie. It was like an extended family.
I am a Junior at HSHS, and I love it. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, sometimes cliquey on sports teams but once you find your people you will love it!! Food is awesome. Teachers are always willing to help out and will really help you understand material. At HSHS, you will be pushed and do thinks you’d never thought you would do. Try new sports and clubs, and it is encouraged because of the same class size. Everyone knows everyone which is something I love, it feels like family. The only thing is I wish that our school had more school spirit, we aren’t too enthusiastic about sports and football games.
It was an amazing experience, you felt apart of a family. I would not change anything about the school
Just transferring in, Holy Spirit has been an amazing school. You can really go up to any one and connect with everyone on a personal level. Everyone who goes there has nothing but great things to say about the school.
My high school experience was a roller coaster. The first 2 years I felt like I didn't belong there. Junior year in my opinion is the worst year in high school. The whole year was like a bumpy road. Eventually I made it through it and went along. Senior year was the easiest year for me because I then figured out everything and was accustom to it. I wouldn't change anything if I'm being honest. I feel like the struggles I went through my first 2 and a half years, made me to who I am today.
What I like the most about Holy Spirit is the availability of guidance counselors when choosing classes and through the entire college application process. I believe that gained a good mix of practical skills and book knowledge in each class. The recommendation process to enter into APT and honors classes forced me to stay focus and structured since my attitude would determine the altitude of my success as a student.
Holy Spirit High School provides the foundation for every student’s future allowing them to be shaped to exceed their fullest potential.
HSHS is the place to be. Kind staff and great student body. The feeling there is like no other. The relationships that you will make there, will last for eternity.
Holy Spirit is an excellent high school for students to attend. The rigorous academic programs prepare students for further education, as well as future employment.
holy spirit is a very family like atmosphere but also does not 100% prepare you for college. The sports teams are always amazing and everyone has a lot of fun with the sports. but academically the school needs to brush up with administrators and the teachers.
Holy Spirit is a small school and has a friendly atmosphere. They provide a great education that will prepare us for college. I feel very safe at school.
Everyone there is super friendly, and welcoming to everyone new. There really isn’t any clicks and everyone talks to everyone. The classes are very challenging but definitely prepare you for college.
great school, great opportunities for community service, staff is knowledgeable. Athletics are a great. Field hockey team is one of the best. Football program is well known. Religious yet, not uptight. Uniforms do not hinder students ability to grow but rather enhance this ability. Art teacher, Ms. Milano very knowledgeable about Art and history. Art program sets a foundation for the rest of your life, definitely recommend taking a class in the arts.
I enjoy the closeness of the staff and teachers and the safety of the school . Their are numerous clubs ,sports to be involved in freshman thru senior year . The academics are very challenging which is what I wanted from a high school
If it wasn’t for attending Holy Spirit High School, I would not be the person that I am today. As a student, I have seized every opportunity to for extra help or to gain more information from the teacher so that I could becom a better student. As a person, the spiritual and life lessons that Holy Spirit has taught me have been priceless. These lessons have helped be grow as a person and guided me to deepen my faith. The family oriented atmosphere is what makes Holy Spirit special. The teachers, staff, and students truly care about you and want to see you become successful.
Terrible school cared for about their athletes than students who got good grades, most of the teachers did not care about their actual job. A lot of students go into the bathroom to smoke cigarettes and joints and faulty show little to any care about it. The school is horrible to be in during the spring because very few to no class rooms are air conditioned and it interrupts the education for the students. Only some students are forced to wear the dress code that is talked about in the school handbook, this school is not worth the money that has to be paid.
