Holy Rosary Elementary School Reviews
Rating 2.75 out of 5 4 reviews
Holy Rosary does well in places that some other schools struggle in like the atmosphere. It is a very close knit and family oriented environment. Everybody there really cares for each other. The teachers know all of their kids by name and will stay in touch with them for years after graduate. The places it has faults are simple things like the food is terrible and the music program has always been pretty bad. The sports teams are nothing fancy but they do have the supplies and equipment. They have good after school care programs and the summer camp is fantastic for a great price. They also prepare you very well for college.
This is a smaller school where students are encouraged to strive to reach their full potential. They are not only given an excellent academic education but are also taught many social skills. The school continues to offer more extracurricular activities to help children grow and they are fully prepared to go on to succeed in high school and beyond once they leave there.
I went to Holy Rosary kindergarten through 8th grade. The school itself is decent. Most of the teachers truly do care about the students, the lunch ladies are angels, etc. However, somehow, the environment that is created is absolutely disgusting. The parents are toxic and manipulative. They teach their kids to exclude and administration does absolutely nothing about it while letting substitutes and teachers preach hate. The trauma that school has given me and many others is ridiculous.
Holy Rosary also has an enormous problem with cockroaches. I remember countless occasions in which a roach crawled up the wall, was dead on the floor and left there for a considerable amount of time, even falling out of desks.
In all, Holy Rosary has decent academics, but it truly is a terrible environment to put your children in.
