10/10 school, would look at again
It was a fantastic experience. I made the best memories and have met the most amazing people. The teachers really take the time to get to know you. The food is some of the best out of the catholic high schools in this area. I have had the best experiences at sporting events and even participating in sports! I definitely would recommend Holy Name to anyone!
Smaller school, which I really liked because I felt that I had more opportunities to play sports and really get to know both the teachers and other students.
That you can be your true self without being made fun of by your student peers. That you immediately get the feel that you are in a family.
It is a great school with an amazing environment! The staff and student body make the environment welcoming and easy to learn in.
The teachers do not seem to be very enthusiastic about what they are teaching. Seem to be going through the motions which can make learning difficult.
Holy Name has been my family ever since I walked through the doors since I shadowed. I felt like it was home immediately. My four years have been amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I had the opportunity to further my academics while participating in various extracurriculars such as basketball!
I love the atmosphere. I feel so at home, and I am very prepared to enter college and the real world.
Holy Name by far has been a big part of our family’s life! From Athletics to Education we could not be happier with our decision to be a namer! Holy Name excels on getting us ready for the next step ( College)!!! Our experience at Holy Name has been extraordinary!
Teachers are pretty hit or miss, some very good teachers and then the exact opposite. There are not a lot of clubs but the clubs there are quality. School culture is good and I feel like the grades are pretty close amongst themselves. There are a lot of sports and each team is at least decent. Administration however is poor and not very understanding, or was not two years ago.
The Community is very welcoming. All the people that make up the school make you feel like you part of one big family--no matter how long ago you will/have graduated.
I enjoyed my time at Holy Name High School for the most part. They were very helpful in the whole process of applying to colleges and other courses in the school. There were several activities for us students to do throughout the years to attempt to make us enjoy our times there. When Covid-19 hit us, I think the faculty took the needed steps to ensure our safety at school.
It was an amazing experience. I'm so glad I chose to go there. I knew when I toured it would be home. It was like family. I feel I had some great opportunities with extracurriculars, sports, college classes and so much more. I would recommend it to others.
Good luck unless you are an athlete. If you are then no rules apply to you at all. There are no real programs at the school either, bullying and harassment is terrible. The school does nothing about it because the parents of the bullies donate money
I really liked my high school. The classes, the people, the teachers. I had a great experience there.
I received an excellent education preparing me for any college of my choice. The music department, although small, is growing and helped me in future plans. Both teachers and administration care for the students and their achievements.
Holy Name High School is like a second home to me. Everyone is very friendly. It is a great school to prepare me for college. I love Holy Name High School.
