It has been challenging and a great preparation for college. The sports and curriculum is great, and the teachers are always there to help out. There is nothing that needs to be changed about it.
Holy family has been an amazing place to foster my education, personal, and spiritual growth. One thing that can not be emphasized enough is the amazing teachers!! Students develop real connections to the point where my teacher was one of the first people I told when I got into college. The academic environment challenges students and sets them up for college. However, the school lacks diversity and expression. It is hard to find "your people" in such a small, not diverse, environment.
As a senior who had siblings at HF, I have some opinions.
HF calls itself a "college prep" school, and I would mostly agree with that, considering the absolutely ludicrous amounts of homework students in AP classes receive (although there really are some amazing teachers). However, they have gotten way too strict on the dress code in recent years. Like will wearing a hoodie with no polo shirt underneath really cause the whole student body to revolt? The theology classes are also just white Catholic propaganda teaching students that Christians are the most oppressed group in the world and that abortion is worse than actual genocides (it's ridiculous how many people have told me that). These should instead be teaching the racist homophobes (ehem...football team) how to actually follow in Jesus' footsteps. The diversity club is also complete joke that doesn't account for LGBTQ+ students, who receive much discrimination. If you want to be clinically depressed, this is a great option!

Retrospectively, the tuiton cost is NOT worth going here. And that was 2/3 years ago when tuiton was much cheaper. For it to be 15-17k now? And for what? The teachers are mid, except for the diamond in the rough ones (like my Pre Calc and Calc BC). Most teachers don’t know HOW to teach students to LEARN. The most advanced classes you can take are APs (not worth the 15k). College counselors are not helpful.
Now to positives, the faculty is amazing and seem like they care about the students. Most teachers care that their students succeed. The college prep is mediocre, and if you hear about how students are so well prepared, they probably weren’t burnt out cuz they don’t take more advanced courses (just saying). The students, for the most part, are good at exhibiting Christian-like behaviors ON THE OUTSIDE. But have definitely heard of racist comments and underlying bullying (if ur observant enough, which none of the teachers or faculty are). Still not worth the 11k (for me).

Holy Family: a great institution that will accept you with open arms- if you are straight and white. The school is a student body filled with more gun-toters, Trump supporters, and unapologetic racists. Although not as bad as some other schools, it is most likely the single greatest collection of these people in the Denver metro area. The religion teachers are almost as bad, teaching conspiracy-theory-esque beliefs about how Christians are one of the most oppressed groups in the world. However, most of the non-religious teachers are good. They do their jobs exceptionally well, especially in the history department. I came out of this school prepared for what college has for me, and in every AP class I took, I felt ready for the exam. The food is great too. My only complaint with the academics is that every semester requires one religion class (to be expected in a Catholic school), and first and second years have a defined curriculum, so taking AP classes in these years is not an option.
Overall, Holy Family is a pretty good school. It’s great for the academic part of high school, as it has a wide variety of challenging course offerings. It also has a ton of different clubs, as well as lots of sports teams.
The school has overall been great. Their are just some areas in which they need to improve in greatly.
Holy Family is the best school I have ever been to! Between the caring teachers and the amazing classes and opportunities it provides this school truly changed my life!
Gotta make a move to a town that's right for me
Town to keep me movin', keep me groovin' with some energy
[Refrain]
Well, I talk about it, talk about it
Talk about it, talk about it
Talk about, talk about
Talk about movin'
Gotta move on
Gotta move on
Gotta move on
[Instrumental]
[Chorus]
A-won't you take me to Funkytown?
Won't you take me to Funkytown?
Won't you take me to Funkytown?
Won't you take me to Funkytown?

Holy Family High School was the best experience I could have had here. Not only were the academics amazing, but the athletics and the religious environment were a significant part of my education there. The curriculum gave the opportunities for advanced classes and the teachers were certified and were some of the best teachers I've had. Holy Family is a great school to have an experience and receive a great education.
The school really works to encourage students to aid the community and grow their faith. I was challenged in academics, however, in the STEM aspect (coding and robotics classes), the school greatly lacked in qualified facility and equipment. Sports do continue to get better and better and there are excellent facilities provided.
We have a great family feel to our school. Small classes, enthusiastic teachers and involved parents make this school what it is!
Competitive sports teams help to make the overall high school experience that much better!

Holy Family was a very warm environment, filled with over qualified teachers, and incredible faculty and students. I felt so welcome and challenged in my academics that I knew I would be prepared for college.
Fantastic experience for my senior! Couldn’t have asked for anything better! The environment is faith field, the teachers are mission driven and passionate about what they do, the student body really supports and lifts each other up!
Holy Family has given me the best high school experience that I could have asked for. It has prepared me for the next chapter of my life. The teachers at Holy Family will push students for excellence, to help prepare them for college. The community at Holy Family is like no other, I felt very welcomed when I first stepped place in this school. I feel like if I were to go to any other high school, I wouldn't be as prepared for college as I am right now. The teachers at Holy Family always treat their students with respect, and care for them as well. Holy Family has many programs that help students who tend to have a hard time learning. There is a class called guided studies which is to help students to be guided on how to organize their school work, go and talk to teachers, and just be able to become more comfortable doing these things on their own. I was in guided studies and this helped me a lot my freshman year, I learned skills that I still use to this day. Holy Family is the best.
I liked the opportunities provided by Holy Family High School. The school had lots of high level classes, and opportunities for research. I enjoyed the ability it gave me to feel ready for college and college-level classes. However, I would change the lack of diversity. There is not a culture that is particularly accepting of differences. For the most part, Holy Family is a really good school.
