Holy Family Catholic School Reviews
Rating 4 out of 5 2 reviews
I am an alum of Holy Family Catholic School as is my sister, father and uncle. I, of course learned all the basics and was well prepared. More importantly than anything academic, I took away from Holy Family Catholic School, I learned how to serve and lead. I learned how to have compassion for others, to be kind and to do what is right even when it wasn’t easy. These are values that I see in my 3rd grade daughter and Kindergarten niece, students of Holy Family.
Our campus is filled with confident, caring and happy students who can be themselves and feel safe both physically and spiritually. Our students can be KIDS. Who doesn’t want that for their child?

Holy Family once was a great school. Emphasis on the once. It has gone downhill ever since Katy Bachelot left as principal, and even before then it was no longer in it’s prime. I wish the faculty and staff would place more emphasis on the opinions of parents and students, rather than outright ignoring them. Holy Family has some sort of partnership with Nolan Catholic High School, yet they do not apply any of the ideals of NCHS into their education. There is a small choir, AMAZING sports thanks to Ms. Janice Barker, middle school council, and nothing else. No other clubs or after school activities. They completely cut any drama department they once had, and now force all middle schoolers to take band. All in all, HFCS could take many notes from other schools in the diocese, but it once was a wonderful school.
