From Holy Family Catholic School

Holy Family Catholic School is a regional school that works with parents to nurture the growth of the whole child - spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. Our school is Catholic - promoting the teachings of the Church and inclusive of diverse cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds.

We are located in the northwest part of Austin, Texas on a beautiful 20-acre campus within the Texas Hill Country. We serve over 600 students from pre-kindergarten (4 years old) through the eighth grade.

Our school offers a curriculum stressing a challenging standards-driven academic program that seeks to prepare graduates for the most rigorous courses available in the high schools of their choice and a strong religious education program that equips graduates with a moral compass to last through their adolescent years and beyond.

Holy Family Catholic School has great academics and prepares you for high school. You will definitely be ready to enter high school if you have attended Holy family. The atmosphere is friendly and everyone is respectful of each other. I have been at Holy Family for 10 years, and it really feels like home. I am definitely going to miss it.

Great school, teachers, and community! Academics are strong and students are happy, every day. Parents are all-in, which helps make this community so amazing.
Academically, the school is great. There is VAST room for improvement in both the administration's and staff's organizational and communication skills. For example, they have back to school night events for students - but only after school has started. They have sports tryouts the first day of school but only put this information on the website - no email communications to the parents (vs. weekly communication during the rest of the year). Vast majority of school events accurately set parameters for the event. (e.g. building location is rarely specified, itineraries not provided (e.g. set times for activities vs. open house environment where you can come and go at any time within event time frame). Because it's private, the school also lacks a variety of electives and extra curricular activities.
