Holy Family Academy Reviews
Rating 3.67 out of 5 3 reviews
Holy Family Academy (HFA) is an excellent school - academically and spiritually. We have 4 children - 3 are students and one has graduated - and we have been part of the HFA family for 12 years. The teachers are warm, experienced and committed to each student, often taking time between classes, during breaks or after school to work individually with him/her. The Principal has a clear, coherent vision for a Classical education. Spiritually, there is not a better place to have your child formed. High Schools attest to the formation HFA provides and seek HFA students because of what they bring to a High School class upon graduation from HFA.
Holy Family Academy is an unique Catholic Classical pre-k through 8 grade elementary school where students are immersed in the faith through daily mass and cathechesis is integrated throughout the day admits rigorous academics. The staff are a cut above and excell at not only teaching a love of learning, and a love of God, but also, a love for truth, beauty, and goodness. We are beyond happy with the decision to enroll our four children at HFA, we love the school!
Not good. There were other bad reviews that seemed to have been taken down (across other sites) so I am adding mine back for fairness' sake.
Graduated here years ago -- great for someone who wants their child to have terrible social skills in the future. Homeschool-type atmosphere. Teachers are... I won't even go into it.
Please do not send your child here, it will really affect them in the coming years. Most of the people I graduated with can identify their time here as pretty negative. I'm sure this program works for some but it really is limiting regarding opportunities. An odd amount of sexism. They have you learn skills that are not transferrable to anything. Favoritism. Did not feel like a real institution. Too many terrible things happened while I was there to go into detail (and I do not want to be identified by staff and likely contacted) so I will leave my review with this:
Not worth it!! There are so so many other options if you are looking into catholic schooling.
