Very welcoming school and made my transfer process very smooth and easy. You instantly feel at home from the moment you walk through the doors. I would like to see more teacher to student interaction in the classroom as a way of understanding the context of a lesson.
Holy Cross has great teachers, who are out for your best interest. The guidance counselors are available when needed.
The teachers at HC really care about your individual success as a student, not only in a grade book but in the world, as well. They don't so much care if you pass a test than that you learn how to learn and be a logical, successful and compassionate person beyond the classroom.
Holy Cross has definitely guided me in the right direction. The teachers here are great and all strive for your success in the long run.
Holy Cross is an above average school but in no way a perfect school. There are certain teachers which definitely need to be trained better and be better at controlling their emotions.
I loved Holy Cross. I learned more and connected more than ever before with teachers and students. Always felt included!
Holy Cross provided me with a community I could never find elsewhere. I have learned many important lessons about community, faith, and friendship throughout my time at Holy Cross
Amazing preparation for College! Supported me and challenged me throughout my 4 years there! Holy Cross makes you feel like
Holy Cross has prepared me for college by offering me a rigorous academic courseload over my four years attending this Catholic High School in Waterbury, CT. The school encourages a community atmosphere where students interact and help each other. There is a sense of family among our school community.
I highly recommend looking into attending this fantastic high school.

Very nice campus. I would like to see change is the curriculum. I feel High Schools in general should prepare young adults for real life and therefore teach students in classes that pertain to things they will actually need; life skills. Such as balancing a checkbook, handling money, more knowledge in knowing about credit cards and your credit. Learning how to manage money & time. Schools should make mandotory math classes based on what career choices you may want to see yourself in. I would like to see a class that is mandatory for all students that is a career choices class. In this class it will review career paths and show students what is actually involved in that career path, schooling you'll need, average salary, requirements needed for that field, etc. I feel by having a class to explore career paths earlier on in HIgh School will help kids to choose a career path by the time they are ready to apply for College.
Everyone is really caring and wants to give of their time to ensure that you succeed, whether that be faculty or fellow students.
The overall experience at Holy Cross was good. I liked that the faculty cared about the student body and made sure we get great grades. They push us to be our very best. I would suggest that they pay more attention to their student's mental health and understand that during tough times, especially after the past year, an excessive work load is not helpful.
I enjoy Holy cross high school. The administration is amazing and extremely welcoming. The teachers do a great job of interacting with their students.
Holy Cross is more than a school it is a family. The education is fantastic but it is so much more. The teachers and the staff really want you to be the best you can be and guide you towards an amazing future.
I enjoyed my experience at Holy Cross. I am grateful to my parents for sending me to this school. My favorite part about the school were the teachers who created a fun environment for us. The ones who genuinely cared and didn't give up on us even when we had given up on ourselves, still pushed us to strive to do better.
This was a great school for college prep. Teacher wise, there were the favorites and the not-so favorites -- but every school has that. Overall not bad, a lot of opportunities to get prepped and ready for college.
Holy Cross High School is an excellent private school. The academics are challenging and prepares their students for college success. Holy Cross does a great deal of community service projects allowing the students the opportunity to give back to the community and value the impact a person can make.
