Holy Cross High School Reviews
Rating 4.25 out of 5 140 reviews
Very nice campus. I would like to see change is the curriculum. I feel High Schools in general should prepare young adults for real life and therefore teach students in classes that pertain to things they will actually need; life skills. Such as balancing a checkbook, handling money, more knowledge in knowing about credit cards and your credit. Learning how to manage money & time. Schools should make mandotory math classes based on what career choices you may want to see yourself in. I would like to see a class that is mandatory for all students that is a career choices class. In this class it will review career paths and show students what is actually involved in that career path, schooling you'll need, average salary, requirements needed for that field, etc. I feel by having a class to explore career paths earlier on in HIgh School will help kids to choose a career path by the time they are ready to apply for College.
Holy Cross is more than just a school that you attend for four years, it is a community. When applying and looking where I wanted to attend high school, Holy Cross was not to school I originally wanted to go to. That all changed when I started the application process and was able to witness what Holy Cross is truly about. The environment at Holy Cross can be described as a family. Holy Cross offers opportunities for each of the students whether in the classroom, on the field/court, on the stage, etc. It is a school where students will strive academically. Each faculty member there wants to see you succeed and are always there to help you. I highly recommend Holy Cross when looking into high schools.
Holy Cross has prepared me for college by offering me a rigorous academic courseload over my four years attending this Catholic High School in Waterbury, CT. The school encourages a community atmosphere where students interact and help each other. There is a sense of family among our school community.
I highly recommend looking into attending this fantastic high school.
