Holy Cross High School Reviews
Rating 3.94 out of 5 33 reviews
I am currently a Junior at Holy Cross High School, and so far I have enjoyed my experience! I have met so many different people, and I always feel included at my school. I have great teachers and enjoy all of my six class periods every day. We are taught in different ways to help us learn better, and offer unique classes, which include Freshmen Academy, Sophomore STREAM, Junior and Senior Internship Program, and more! This school is smaller and private, so it only includes about 300 (possibly less/more) people including staff. The only difference I would like to see as a current student (and for future ones!) would be a wider variety of clubs and electives for Juniors and Seniors.
The community at Holy Cross is one that you will not receive at many other schools. Here, you aren't just a number on a spread sheet but a name and face noticed in the school. The attention and care each student receives is extremely important in our learning environment. In addition, Holy Cross is coed which we believe is extremely important because that is what it is in the real world. I wouldn't choose any other school to further my high school education. The opportunities here are limitless in what you can do.
Holy Cross is good because it has a Corporate Internship program where every Tuesday or Thursday you work at an internship through the school year. Holy Cross is horrible at incorporating diversity in a respectful way. Holy Cross suppresses individuality and self-expression.
