I work at a high school in Tallahassee and year after year the incoming freshman students that attended Holy Comforter for elementary and middle lead their class in high school. They are so well prepared academically that the leap to 9th grade isn't near as big of a jump as it is for students coming from other schools. The HCES alumni stand out to me as a high school administrator as students who are going to do big things in high school. They clearly have a solid foundation, they are good citizens and leaders of their peers.

I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a place that would prepare the whole child. Not driving by test scores but the child as a whole learner. Love this school.

I am an alum of Holy Comforter and had the great opportunity to come "home" and work. Holy Comforter prepared me to succeed academically and as a person. As a child, I would love to come to school and now I love coming to work. It’s still that same loving, caring environment in which you learn the tools to succeed in life.

HCES has become a second home for our family. The sense of community is wonderful and all of the teachers and administration are incredibly supportive.

I could not imagine a better place to educate my children! Holy Comforter takes a whole child approach and highly values social emotional learning in addition to a rigorous academic curriculum.

I have been teaching preschool at Holy Comforter for five years and I love it! I love that it feels like home and that I work with parents, supportive leaders and co-teachers. I feel lucky and happy to be apart of the Holy Comforter family!

I love the education my son is receiving at Holy Comforter. The positive energy and high academic standards are evident in every grade level. It is a wonderful learning environment for children.

My children attended HCES from PK through 8th grade. The education they received was outstanding and they enjoyed every minute. The academic and life lessons they learned helped them grow into the successful adults they are today.

The school culture is positive, kind and encouraging. Students are respectful and classes are filled with advanced learning!

As a teacher and as a parent, I believe there is no better school in Tallahassee! Holy Comforter has become a second home for me and my children! Academics are challenging, sports are fun and competitive, and my boys are learning about life and personal responsibility outside of the classroom.

I can't say enough about this school and the incredible, teachers and staff. We have been a family for over 9 years and it truly is our 2nd home. Not only are our children getting the very best education, but they are happy, have developed a love for learning and are truly loved by their teachers and peers. They are taught not only to be good students but to be good people through the character education and spiritual component. It's truly a special place.

Academically, they prepare you to make public high school a breeze. I would like to see the administration loosen up a bit, but that's just because I was a student there

This is a fantastic school. The teachers and faculty care about each student and want them to excel. My son and daughter have gone to the school for three years and we have had excellent teachers each year. Starting in prek3, your child begins to practice public speaking when their class "hosts" chapel. The students do group and individual projects that require them to use multiple skills. In addition to the core academic subjects, HCES ensures that character and values are instilled in the student body. I would highly recommend this school to any family looking for a safe, rigorous, loving and character building environment.

This is an incredibly compassionate and politically correct environment. Everyone's needs are respected and taken care of.

The sports programs are fun and well developed, and the club selection, while small, is great!

This school is one of a kind and has greatly shaped my life as a whole. I fully intend to send my own kids to Holy Comforter someday.

The great teachers at this school sculpted me into the succesful studne thtat I am today! I wouldn't have done all that I've done without the great learning foundation they gave me.
